Be Prepared
With such a huge amount on offer at each event it’s useful to come with a list of items you need.
-
Paying on the day
Our sellers can only accept cash on the day so make sure you bring some with you to avoid a trip to the nearest cashpoint.
-
Speak to the sellers
The sellers are parents & grandparents too so don’t be afraid to have a chat & ask them about or demonstrate the items they are selling. If you after something in particular it’s worth asking as they may have it at the event or at home.
-
TAKE YOUR TIME
Sellers tend to add more as they sell items so taking a second look around the event is always a good idea, we sell refreshments at each event so enjoy a drink & a cake before taking a second look.
-
Bag a bargain
Don’t be afraid to haggle, our sellers always welcome offers on items.
-
Best time to come
The first hour is the busiest as people get there early to have the first look at what’s on offer & if you are coming along to get something specific that’s a good move but if you are coming for a browse it’s often the last half an hour when the best bargains can be had as the sellers don’t want to take items home.
